Issue Position

We must never forget the sacrifices our veterans made to ensure our freedom. Our top priority should be to address the seen and unseen scars of our veterans. We need to ensure they receive the care and benefits they have earned. We need to clean up the backlog of veterans claims so they can live the American dream they bravely fought for. I would advocate calling in our military reserves to assist in their treatment, or giving them vouchers so they can receive the proper care they need in the private sector. Washington needs to keep their promises by fulfilling their obligations.
